Carter Elizabeth Brake Elizabeth Brake (Greer) born December 14, 1928 in Hazard, KY passed away on November 24, 2007 surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 78. She loved fishing, quilting, and bingo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edwin Boots Brake and infant son, James Brake. She is survived by her children, W.B. Butch Brake of Houston, TX, Gene Brake (Greg Stripes) of Chantilly, VA, Mariann Brake of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Deborah, Karen, Richard, Jennifer, Aimee, Joseph, David; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Combs; half sister, Reble Mullins; half brothers, Fred and Jr Mullins; numerous other relatives and friends.
