Cora Elkins had 4 children but only my father and uncled lived till they were in their late 70s. Cora died in the early 1920's and her mother was Susanna but she had several husbands and not sure of her history. My Gfather's sister "Mandy" America McIntosh married Will Barnett and they lived near Lost Creek in Breathitt, KY. Although I do not know any Barnetts but I have spoke to a couple of people from this site. I have a picture of Will Barnett. He died after being shot working at his still. A distant relative of Will said he died on the way to Jackson to get help. Also, he was a leader in the Clayhole Election Murders (I think it was 1920 or 22). Forget right now but he sounds like a real character. I think he might be a figure in a picture with my Gfather at a small still. It looks like him, not sure.
