Lynda, I chatted with Oscar Combs who is a brother to Ray who passed away. He said Ercie died approximately 60 plus ago. His half sister was 11 1/2 years old when she died and she is now well into her 70's. He said Ercie was buried in a cemetery called Old Blackhawk. I am sure that means something to you but I am not aware of it. He said there is a young child buried next to her. I think Ercie died and then his dad married the Lamb lady that is his mother. She is from this area.....I think. Oscar said his dad's grandpa was Hand Bill Combs. Oscar also said it was ok to call him if anyone wanted to chat or ask questions. His number is 859-756-3080.
