    3. My PC crashed about 2 weeks ago and we've been unable to revive it. So, I now have a new laptop with the VISTA operating system. Looks like I'm going to have to buy Family Tree Maker 2008 in order to run my genealogy program on VISTA. I was looking at the deluxe edition.     3. I like the older versions, too. My 2005 version of FTM is running on VISTA but I can't get my backup disc to load.
