Stanfill Joe C. Stanfill, 75, of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at 2:25 p.m. at his residence. He was born on Jan. 1, 1929, in Blue Diamond, [Perry County], Ky., and lived in this area for most of his life. Mr. Stanfill was employed as a first helper at Armco Steel for 38 years, retiring 1989. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Lillie Mae Stanfill; and two brothers, Kelly Stanfill and Richard Olinger. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret Stanfill; two sons, Vernon Stanfill of Fort Gay, W. Va., and Donald (Mary) Stanfill of Tawas City, Mich.; a granddaughter, Amanda Stanfill of Tawas City, Mich.; three brothers, Worley (Nancy) Olinger of Middletown, Ohio, and Gary Olinger and David (Irene) Olinger, both of Oneida, Tenn.; and sisters Ruth (Charles) Hubbard of Pendleton, S.C., Bobbie Ann Bell of Oneida, Tenn., Rebecca (John) Daughtery of Wabash, Ind., and Sue Ellen (Clell) Reed and Dorothy Jean (John) King, both of Oneida, Tenn. ARRANGEMENTS: Receiving of friends will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home,1500 Manchester Ave., Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. MEMORIALS: Memorials contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 105 McKnight Drive, Middletown, Ohio 45044.
