    3. I have seen several articles on that. Right now I don't know just where, but I know it was in one book about Harlan County. I was thinking it was also in the book, History of Perry County, but am not sure of that. It even told of places he stayed while in KY. Actually, they did not buy the land, just the mineral rights.
