From the Hazard Hearld Jan 22, 1940 Funeral Services Held On Sunday For Artis Harvey, 33 Artis Harvey, 33, who died at his home on Broadway early Saturday evening was buried at Stacy on Troublesome Sunday afternoon. The last rites were in charge of the Rev. E.H. Harvey of Glomawr. Harvey was the son of James and Rachel Combs Harvey. and spent most of his life in Perry County. He is survived by the widow, Mrs Lartey Harvey and two daughters. Lynda's note: Artie was married to Lettie Mae STACY. Do any of you know who her parents were?
