Thanks for posting ones on the children Lynda. I think they have lots to do with genealogy. They often put parents in a certain place and time and provide clues for other family members. Also, they can paint a sad picture of how some families endured hardship of epidemics and loss of one child after another. Leaves me feeling very grateful for the health my family has experienced compared to the misfortunes of our ancestors. Genealogy is more than just collecting dead relatives. It's also telling the story of their lives which we can learn much from.
