They are Daniel Boone Combs b @1875 in Leslie County, KY and Becca Sizemore born @1889 in Clay County, KY. They married November 24, 1910 in Leslie County, KY. On the marriage license it lists their parents, but that's where I"m stuck. Daniels parents are Gus Asher and Lucy Combs. The only "Gus" I can find is Augustus son of Elhannon Asher. Lima, Allen County, Ohio Darren Todd SNOW, 27, of Burlington, KY, formerly of Lima, died May 16, 2004, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. He was born to Donnie and Barbara COMBS SNOW, who survive in Burlington. He had been married to Alecia FOLEY, who survives in Lima. Mr. SNOW was a diesel technician for Freightliner in Cincinnati. He also worked part-time at Skyline Chili, Oakbrook, Ky., and at the Briarwood Banquet Center. He had worked at Beer Barrel Pizza and Harry's Hide-A-Way, both in Lima. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Burlington Fire Department. He was a 2000 graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Alexia Foley of Lima; a sister, Anitra Dawn Moore of Burlington; a niece; maternal grandfather, Winston H. Combs of Williamstown, Ky.; and paternal grandmother, Betty Snow of Burlington. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born on April 11, 1925, in Hazard, Ky., and lived in the Middletown area since 1954. Mr. Bartlett served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Bradford. He was employed as a steelworker at Armco Steel Mill for 33 years before retiring in 1987. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva Young and Emma Cleva Bartlett; four brothers, Clarence, Ralph, Everett and Kyle Bartlett; and a sister, Florine Adkins He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fay J. Bartlett; a son, John E. (Stephanie nee: Greco) Bartlett of Loveland, Ohio; a daughter, Dianne (Perry) Neill of Monroe, Ohio; grandchildren Bryan (Stacy) Neill, Adam Neill, Stephen E. Hi Gang, I had a nice vacation to the Smoky Mountains. One thing that was really funny was..... Saturday evening we went to Dolly Pardon's Dixie Stampeed. It was a great show (plus dinner). I saw a PERRY CO. KENTUCKY SCHOOL BUS in the parking lot. haha Talking about strange!! hehe I guess they was on a school trip or something? It was bus number 56. I didn't get to see the kids, I supposed that they had already gone inside. The really funny part of this is....it seems that no matter where I go, I always manage to see something about Perry County there. I love it!! hehe I sure did miss all of you! Lynda
