Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/nBB.2ACI/2948 Message Board Post: Does anyone know if the Andrew Howard, age 18 in the 1850 Perry County census (listed in the household of Elizabeth Howard, age 43 and born in Virginia) is the same Andrew that is listed in the 1860 Perry County census in the Hazard district, sheet 706? I then find him in Magoffin County in 1870. And then he and his family are in Pulaski County by 1880 and he remained there until at least 1910. It seems that he died between 1910 and 1920 in that county. I believe that this Andrew may have been a son of Esom and Elizabeth Napier Howard.

In any case this Jasper or Jackson Wilson is believed to be the eldest son born to Jonathan Fountain Wilson and Margaret "Peggy" Daniel of Halifax Co. Va. My grandmother Phoebe Sumner Brown remember him as as being referred to by the name of Jack Wilson. This same person identifed in the 1870 census as being married to Margarett is attributed to have been married to a woman by the name of Katherine or Kate Wilson. In the 1920 federal census a Katherine Wilson is identified as living with a Rhoda Wilson Hannah in one of the Hazard enumaration districts. Any help on this family is greatly appreciated. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Humphrey, Humphreys, Humphries, Wilson, Willson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/nBB.2ACI/2946 Message Board Post: Over the past several years I have researched the offspring from Jonathan Fountain Wilson. Three of his children left Wise co Va to live on Mason's Creek in Perry County after the Civil War. Susannah Wilson married Isham Riddle - son of Asa Riddle. Their daughter Manerva Riddle married my great grandfather Eli Sumner. Jasper Jackson or Jack Wilson also appeared in Perry Co. between 1880 to 1900. It apears that Jack and his wife divorced and the family split. The last member was Janetti or Jenette Wilson Humphrey. Janetti and her husband James "Hen" Henry Humphrey are identified in the 1880 and 1900 Perry Co. Census. In the 1910 census record James H Humphreys is married a second time. Two other households were identified with the Humphreys surname. A Henry Humphrey - who some have identifed as Henry Wilson and the James Humphrey Jr family. We can only assume Jenette died sometime between 1900-1910. Can anyone provide any information on these Humphreys families and their closely related Wilson relatives?
