    3. GRACE FERGUSON LAND, 85, of Dunedin (FL), died Sunday (Nov 28, 2004) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Hazard, Ky., and came here in 1990 from Battle Creek, Mich. She was a homemaker and for many years a volunteer at a nursing home in Kentucky. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin, and active in programs at Edinborough Healthcare, where she enjoyed bingo, crocheting, music, reading, and crossword puzzles. Survivors include two daughters, Anna Land, Dunedin, and Harthalene Casterline, Battle Creek; a son James, California; two sisters, Cordelia Northern, Seattle, and Lizzie Poynter, Vanceburg, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The only James C Combs that I have in my database born in 1957 is the s/o Eli Leslie Combs and Lois Mae Adkins. Anyone have an additional information on James Coy Combs? Carter

I then find him in Magoffin County in 1870. And then he and his family are in Pulaski County by 1880 and he remained there until at least 1910. It seems that he died between 1910 and 1920 in that county." I believe that this Andrew may have been a son of Esom and Elizabeth Napier Howard. i am responding to the request for info on andrew howard. the andrew howard who died in pulaski in 1911 was my great great grandfather. he died on july 25 1911. he is buried in the blue john cemetary in southern pulaski county. i will glady try to answer any questions that i can. it has been very difficult to trace back farther than andrew but i have a copy of his death certificate coming from frankfort and hopefully it will give me more info to go on.
