She was a retired school teacher with the Perry County School District, and the daughter of the late Robert W. Combs and the late Icy Cebers Combs. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Dupree, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Eldon Wall; daughters Kathy Farler and Becky Atchley; son Robert Dupree; step-son Eldon Wall, Jr.; step-daughter Karen Ritchie; sister Marcy Walker; half-sister Mary Ann Jones; half-brother Barn Jones; grandchildren Nikki, Elizabeth, Emily, Coleman, Zoie, Kaci and Sidney; great-grandchildren Perry, Macy, Ayzlyn and Tripp; special friends Doris Jean Shepherd and Irene Combs, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Roger L. Combs, age 44, of Fairmont, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at York. He was born May 25, 1968, at York to Ronald and Rose (Stewart) Combs. Mr. Combs was a 1986 York High School Graduate. He was a production scheduler/buyer at Hamilton Sundstrand in York where he worked for over 25 years. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed attending auctions, gun shows and traveling. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Rose and husband Dennis Melby of Fairmont; father Ronald Combs of Friend; sister Rondalin, husband Brett Wells and their children Camille, Calvin, Reese, Madelynn, and Triston of Beatrice; special friend Melissa McCoy of Lincoln; grandmother Marie Stewart of Friend; and uncle John Stewart and wife JoAnn of Friend. Mr. Combs is also survived by many extended family members and friends. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Sherman and Tilda Mae Combs; grandfather John H. Stewart; and infant brother Mark. Margaret Prewitt Stone Combs, 86, of Clark County died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. She was born in Estill County, the daughter of the late Berry Lee and Dulah Barnett Stone and the widow of Elmer Y. Combs (married 57 years), all of Clark County. She is survived by two daughters, Elma Rowena Combs (Benjamin Stephens) and Rovena Gail Combs, one sister Phyllis Lo-Dine Stone Hampton (Eugene Hampton) and was preceded in death by one sister Mary Mildred Stone Nugent, all of Clark County. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She is survived by a step-grandson Kevin M. Stephens and six step-great-grandchildren (Traci, Lainie, Mason, Henry, Kayden and Kameron Stephens) all of Woodford County. She graduated from Trapp High School and attended Fugazzi Business College. She assisted her husband in his sign business for over 40 years. She loved gardening and the outdoors.
