At time of her death, she was 28 years of age. The resident of Powell County was the daughter of Keith and Ida Faye Warfield, also residents of Powell County. Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, David Anthony Marlowe, two sons, David Anthony and Damion Keith Marlowe, her sister, Pamela Warfield, her sister-in-law, Amy Marlowe, her grandparents, Lloyd and Geneva Napier, her in-laws, David and Sandy Marlowe and her Godmother, Molly Grigsby. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a miner and a farmer Mr. Coots’ survivors are his wife, Mona Ray Coots, their sons, Wade and wife Mona Gail Coots also of Viper and Kenneth and wife Judge of Swanksville, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Katherine Brock of Indiana, Nola Faye Finley of Mt. The lifelong resident of Perry County was a Charter Member of the Victory Assembly of God. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Rice and one grandson, Wesley Keith Rice. He was born in Cornettsville, KY on December 6, 1928, the son of Frank and Minerva (Harris) Jones. The fifth of 12 children and the first of four sons. Educated in the Fairfield Schools he entered the US Army in 1949 and served proudly in the Korean War with post war service in Washington D.C. as a member of the Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery before being Honorably Discharged. His Service and Campaign awards include the Combat Infantryman's Badge, Purple Heart, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal, National Defense Service, Korean Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Republic of Korea War Service Medal, and Korean Presidential Unit Citation. Hazard Herald Obituaries Wednesday, Dec 05, 2007 Mabel Crutcher Mrs. Mabel Crutcher, a native of Whitewood, Virginia, departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. At the time of her death, Mrs. Crutcher was 91 years of age. A retired elementary school cook, she was affiliated with the Church of God. A grandmother who enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, she also enjoyed watching U of K basketball games as well as the baseball games during the World Series. The widow of Hershal Crutcher, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Venus Bray Durham. Mrs. Crutcher is survived by her son, Ronnie Lee Crutcher and wife Ann of Louisville, her daughter, Paulette Crutcher and her sister, Ruby Brashear, both residents of Viper. Along with a host of other relatives and friends, she is also survived by her three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends were received on Wednesday morning, November 28, until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at the Engle-Walker Perry County Chapel. Rev. Jeffrey Scott Coots and Rev. Donnie L. Coots officiated at the funeral service. The burial was at the Lone Pine Baptist Church Cemetery at Viper. She was the grandmother of Joseph and wife Trish Black, Judson and wife Becca Coleman, Jordan Coleman, Rowena and husband Alex Murphy and Jennah Coleman and the step grandmother to Jason, Paul and Eric Ziegler. Visitation was held at the Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, Missouri, on Thursday evening, November 29. My grandmother, Alba McKenzie, was "married" to a Perry Herman Brewer(b. abt 1905), they lived in Powell Co during the 1920 census. In the 1910 census he is listed as a child in the household of Daniel Boone Brewer, as one of eight children, Perry being the sixth born. I know later Daniel remarried to a lady named Emma Pence.     2. Hi Dave, Yes, I can get them from all the 120 Ky counties, but only from 1911 to 1956. Also it depends on if some one filed a DC on the person that died.
