Her name was Rebecca Ann Scott, daughter of Robert Scott and Cynthia Arnold. She married Moses Cummins, son of Joseph Cummins, 9 Dec 1840 and had 9 children. She married second to Willis Rankin on 16 Jul 1885 and you know he died less than four years later. Samuel Cook Rankin married Emily Cynthia Scott. Her parents are unknown to me. His father was Thomas Rankin Sr. She was born on 17 Apr 1828 and died 23 Dec 1896 in Harrison Co. KY. I do not show any connection of these two men but there well may be. I also do not show a connection between the two Scott ladies. Doug Harper
