The gravestone in Riverside cemetery does not have the final date carved, just 19__, I'm not sure if he died in Kentucky or while staying with his daughter and son-in-law in New York state. They were Alby Stauffer and Anna Greb Stauffer. I would appreciate any help. Falmouth Outlook 30 Jan 1942 Vol. 35 No. 39 Page 3 Col. 3 Deaths Herman Greb Herman Greb, aged 83 years, a former resident of Falmouth died at his home in Cincinnati on Tuesday, Jan 20, 1942. He had been in feeble health for a long time. He was the son of the late Valentine Greb, and was born in Cincinnati on Sept. 15, 1858. He came to Falmouth with his parents when a young boy. His father conducted the Greb Hotel in this city for many years. He was united inmarriage to Miss Elizabeth Stutz of this county and to this union seven children were born. He is survived by two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Emma Hunter, Mrs Anna Stauffer, Orville and valentine Greb. He leaves many relatives and friends in Falmouth and Pendleton County. In early life he united with the Famouth Lutheran church and continued his religious activities with this denomination after moving to Cincinnati. The remains were brought back to Falmouth on Thursday and funeral services were held at the Falmouth Methodist Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. G. E. Graden.
