Hello, Pendleton listers! I'm trying to find the death record of Benjamin HENSLEY, who apparently died in Pendleton County between 1860 and 1870. My interest is in seeing who the record says was Benjamin's mother. Benjamin is not my ancestor, but his father, Samuel HENSLEY, might be. Some researchers say that this Samuel HENSLEY, whose will was probated in Pendleton County in 1831, had come from Virginia, leaving a wife and some of his children behind there. I see that the death records on the Pendleton GenWeb site skip the 1860s. Does that mean that death records don't exist for this period?
