Is there anyone on this List with Blackburn connections? My great grandmother was Sabina Blackburn, daughter of Thornton Blackburn. It is my belief that Sabina Blackburn was born in Pendleton Co as I found the family there on the 1860 census. The family included Thornton and wife Angeline and daughters Sabina age 9 yrs and Ruth 7 yrs. I am very interested in learning the maiden name of Angeline. Betty, I possibly have some information that would help you, unfortunately my data base must be reinstalled after a virus attack and I am leaving in the morning going from Garland Texas to New Castle Indiana so it will be a little while before we can look anything up. I am descended from Benjamin (sometimes referred to as Zachariah) who died in 1843 Pendleton Co., KY Through his son James Kennedy Blackburn and Dorcas Lovell Through his son James Kennedy Blackburn II and Artemius Elizabeth Smith Through hi son James Blackburn married Nannie Bell Coleman. Thornton was in this family if my memory serves me. Sabina was married to John J Shivley and they came to Randolph County Arkansas. Both are buried in Randolph Co. I will look forward to hearing from you.
