Cushman in Falmouth. b. 12 Mar 1851 near Oakland in Pendleton Co. dau. Robert and Betsy Atwell Pebworth. m. J. W. Fields who died 14 Oct 1923. Survived by these children: Mrs. Cora Browning of Oakland; Mrs. F. A. Cushman of Falmouth; W. L. and Howard Fields of Covington; Mrs. Mina Crawford of Oakland and Mrs. Garnett Hamilton of Connersville, IN. Two children died before her: Elbert and Nettie Fields. Also survived by five sisters: Mrs. William Fields of Bracken Co.; Mrs. John Perry of Covington; Mrs. J. D. Mains of Ft. Mitchell; Mrs. Lucinda Ellis and Mrs William VanHook of TN. bur. Oakland Cem. Pendleton Co. beside her husband. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Williams, d. 7 Jun 1924 in Covington b. 29 May 1862 age 62 years and 9 days dau Thomas and Jane Hampton. m. John Marquis, 18 Jun 1879 and they had four children, three sons and one daughter. One son, Robert, d in infancy. John Marquis d. 8 Oct 1897 and daughter, Mary, d. 4 Jan 1921. Tom and Charlie survive. m2. William Williams, 12 Oct 1911 and he d. some 10 years ago. Her mother, Jane Hampton, past 83 also survives with one sister, Mrs. Eliza Dunn. bur. Pythian Grove Lieut. Charles T. Swoope, d. last week in National Military Home in Danville, IL. b. 84 years ago in Pendleton Co. son of Congressman Samuel F. Swoope. Was in 4th KY Regiment at the outbreak of the Civil War and was promoted to First Lieutenant. Last surviving member of a large family of children. He is sruvived by four children: Samuel, Charles T. Jr., Georgia and Mary Swoope of Cincinnati. bur. National Military Home at Danville, IL William Leslie Martin, b. 28 Apr 1874, age 50 years, 2 months and 7 days. d. 4 Jun 1924 in Johnson City, TN m.
