    3. My Dad,who taught the high school maths at one time talked of a kinsman who was our Clermont Co,Ohio official surveyor,and knew no plane geometry. Archie Holland platted his survey readings on graph paper,and added the blocks,and partial blocks. Having said that,on this side of the Ohio those early surveys were very wrong in acerage. 50% and more. There came a day when Augusta,Bracken Co,Ky had a college. 1839-79,Parker's Academy operated at Clermontville,on the Ohio within 3[?] miles of nw Pendleton Co,Ky.
