Does anyone have access to a courthouse record, will or deed, that proves Robert Barnhill, 1790-1872 was the father of Samuel Barnhill, 1820-1889? Robert was married to Margaret Neeley and moved to Pendleton County in 1849 from Scott County. Samuel was married to Nancy E. Morgan on Dec. 16, 1847, possibly in Scott County. Other children of Robert and Margaret were James, Ellen, John, Sarah, Robert W., and William. I am willing to compensate for time and expense if advised. Thank you for your help. Mary Littleton
