Mr. & Mrs. Cannon had lived at this place for more than thirty years, and it is with much reluctance that they give up this fine old home where he and MRs. Cannon have spent thier entire happy married life; but circumstances have ruled otherwise. For forty years, Mrs. Cannon hwas the leading business spirit in Boyd. He was postmaster, railroad agent, conducted a general store, was one of the largest turkey shippers in Kentucky and engaged in many other business lines. Besides his many business enterprises he devote much of his time to relitious and fraternal activities, being a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic order, asn was aliberal giver to all. He still owns the store building and large turkey strangler shouse at Boyd, but expects to dispose of these properties. Mr. & Mrs. Cannon will leave Boyd with the best wishes of all in the vicinity, which is certainly a pleasure to both. They may make their future home at Cynthiana and Aiken, SC.
