Benson J. W. Shearer, age 77, d. 29 Jul 1924 in Winchester. Survived by wife and four daughters: Mrs. M. E. Pace and Mrs. J. R. Parrish of Louisville; Mrs. Owen Sherwood of Falmouth and Mrs. Thomas Walden of Winchester. Also a son, Grover Shearer, a sister, Mrs. Bettie Lawrence of Winchester and a brother, J. W. CO Jack Moore Jr., b. 12 Jun 1918 son John W. and Nell Conrad Moore d. 23 Jul 1924 Father killed on 4 Jul 1919 in a tractor accident. bur. in Frankfort beside his mother and father.
