HUFFMAN, and wife at Brooksville. ***We have Ann(a) WOLFE, 1788-before 1860, d/o Lewis WOLFE and Barbara ?) m. William Huffman in Harrison County, KY 1830*** Elliott, Mrs. Hannah 74 d. 8 Feb 1920 home in East End dau. James and Elsie KING ***Our grandmother was Amanda Newton KING,d/o James WOLFE( g-grandson of the aforementioned Lewis WOLFE) and Susan SLADE ROBINSON (nee Slade), who married James KING ca 1895. m. Isaac Elliott 55 years ago. he d. 23 Jul 1915 mother of surv children Maggie Elliott, James D. Elliott, Brooksville Mrs. Alice Bonar, Falmouth ***There is a Bonar now near Falmouth who was a WOLFE (ggg-granddaughter of the Aforementioned Lewis WOLFE through his son George Lewis WOLFE m.Mary Massa DUNN) by birth. She was the sister of Ann(a) WOLFE J. W. Elliott Robert H. Elliott B. B. Elliott, Falmouth C. D. Elliott, Columbus, OH Florence G. Elliott sister surviving Mrs. Missouri ASBURY of Robinson ***G-grandmother, Lucinda ASBURY, m. James WOLFE ca 1853 (g-grandson of Lewis above through his son John Wolfe m. Rebecca ROBINSON). I don't know if there is any connection the Susan SLADE ROBINSON KING above. Willis WOLFE, s/o of Lucinda and James and brother of Amanda's husband James above, married Eva KING (sister of Amanda Newton above) Miss Katherine King spent Thursday with Gladys and Audrey King (Hall it should be. dh) *** See above Mrs. Hulda King and two sons, Bud and Floyd, spent Saturday night and Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Becky Tinney, who is quite ill at this writing. ***We also have Miranda WOLFE m. Albert KING. Yes, they are related to the ones above. They had a daughter,Goldie, had a son named Floyd KING. Most of these happened in Pendleton, Grant, and Harrison since ca1800. There are more WOLFE-KING pairings. These families married into DUNCAN, BLACKBURN, McMILLIAN, SLADE, TOADVINE, HUMPHREY, CRAWFORD, BROWN, SMITH, DUNN, BREWSBAUGH, BARNES, ROGERS, and MONZINGO in these same counties from ca-1800-1900's This Outlook looks as if it was written for me.
