KY, is the oldest man in the world. He tells a newspaper reporter that he distinctly remembers Washington's illness and death and many other events of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Uncle John was born in 1788, and was 73 years old when the Civil War broke out in 1861. He tried to enlist, but was rejected on account of his age. Another startling fact concerning Uncle John is that he has a boy five years old. Uncle John is either the wonder of the age, has some awfully good neighbors or Burbank has been doing some grafting. Falmouth Outlook Volume 13 Number 38 27 Feb 1920 Pg. 5 Col. 3 Personals Jasper Cummins and family have moved from the fair grounds to the residence he purchased of J. K. McKenney on Second Avenue. Clay Cummins and family have moved to the fair grounds. Thomas Regan, the county's oldest resident, who resides on Rigg Street. this city, came in Monday with his $1.50 for another year's Outlook. Mr. Regan was one of our first subscribers, and has renewed his subscription each year on the day it expired save one, when the day fell on Sunday and the office door was locked. Mr. Regan is a veteran of the Mexican War, and is one of the few of these old veterans living today. He fought in the principal battles of the Mexican War, and lot an arm in one of them. Mr. Regan is 94 years old, but is till in good health and keeps informed of the current topics of the day. He comes down town when the weather permits, and walks with a spring in his heel equal to a man of fifty. He bids fair to grind out the century mark.
