All came with well laden baskets, which furnished a bountiful dinner for those present. The day was spent visiting old relatives and friends, singing Southern melodies and favorite hymns; as "The Wayside Cross'" and other selections sung by Messrs. Chester Jouett, Walter, Wesley and Eureka Whitaker, and "The Nearer the Sweeter." sung by Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Whitaker, were much enjoyed as were other special selections.
