Looking for info on the following; William "Willie" G. York, born 1877 in Prob., Clay County, Kentucky, s/o Thompson and Elzira Murphy York; He married Unknown. The following story has been handed down and I am hoping someone knows more about it. The family was in the Owsley, Jackson, Lee counties area 1900-1910, so am assuming it happened there. Any help appreciated on this or the other children of Thompson and Elzira which follow. Pat Ball "When Willie was in Kentucky, he was married and had five children. One day, he was out in a wagon with his wife and the five kids, and someone run his wagon off the road, or hit it, and Willie got mad and shot the man. Willie and his family left the country.
