Hi all, Looking for descendents of MARY PETERS, born c. 1801 in Scott County, Virginia, died 3 Nov 1874 in Clay Co., KY. She was a daughter of HENRY and POLLY (WAITE) PETERS of Scott Co., VA. Mary traveled west to Laurel County, KY and later Clay County with 4 of her brothers and sisters in approx. 1836. Siblings that moved to KY were: John H. Peters, born 1797 Scott Co., VA, died May 1876 Owsley Co. Elisha Peters, born 1800 Scott Co., VA, died in Owsley Co., KY Delitha Peters Magee, born 1804 Scott Co., VA, died Nov 1870 in Laurel Co., KY Mahala Peters Johnson, born 1821 Scott Co., VA, died in Lee Co., KY Mary Peters was my 3rd great-grandmother.
