You are dealing with an entirely different Meredith. Note that his father was Squire Combs. My Meredith Combs was the son of Andrew Jackson Combs and Martha Reynolds. My grandfather was Tarleton Combs. There are a dozen Tarleton's also. They are so confusing because they used the same names over and over. Often I think they just did that to puzzle the future generations!.
