Sorry if I don't always get back to you in a timely manner, but I'm not always able to check my e-mail regularly. The information I have states that Sarah Taylor was born in 1845. The following is additional information on the children of James Carr & Sarah Taylor. These were all the children they had. 1. Ann Beatrice Carr, b. 2 Sept. 1865. 2. Bowen Carr, b. 1867, lived about 2 years. 3. Susannah Carr (m. Murphy), b. Nov. 1869. 4. Ellen Carr (m. Taylor), b. 1871. 5. Lemuel Carr, b. 1874, lived about 2 years. 6. Reuben Carr, b. 1 May 1876, d. 20 Jan. 1931. 7. Martha Wise Carr, b. 16 Feb. 1877. 8. Elizabeth (Bettie) Carr (m. Barnes), b. 1880. 9. James Carr, b. 1884, died in infancy. BTW, this material was obtained from Reuben Carr & Mary Tiny Mitchell's last remaining child, my great-aunt, Tiny Carr Herrell. I did not have any information on Jacob Carr. Reuben was as far back as my information went, and the only child I had on him was James, although I knew that he and Susannah Miles had 11 children altogether. You have supplied me with a wealth of information which will be extremely helpful in my quest to trace my roots.
