I am researching the MASON family of Owen Co. My grandmother was Allie D. Mason, b. 1877, Owen Co., the daughter of Jesse Mason, b. 1845, wife, Mary A.?, b. 1848. Children: Daniel, William, Nancy, Elizia, George, Charley, Sarie J. Jesse fought for the South in the Civil War, but I do not know the unit, etc. I have discovered most of these records in the US Census 1880. Does anyone know any more about this family?
