The followin is the research by Lee Osborne correcting my posting hope it helps someone and again thank you Lee for all your efforts. ------------------------------------------------------------- I have completed my investigation into "Bryant Osborne". As Isuspected, the death certificate information as given below is incorrect. I don't have this certificate, so of course cannot say whether the certificate itself is in error or whether it is poorly written and was mis-read. Perlissa's parents were Bryant O'Banion and Polly Smith. I located Perlissa (as "Malissa", age 33) in the 1860 Owen Co., KY census (p112, dwelling 758) with her husband James D. Perkins. I located the marriage register entry, which only used initials (bond and marr. 9/13/1854 J.D. Perkins to P. O'Banion) and then the bond in the Owen Co. 1853-1855 bond book, page 251 (9/13/1854 James D. Perkins and Perlissia OBanion, Bryant OBanion, bondsman). I then located Bryant OBanyan on page 180 of the 1850 Owen Co. census, with "Pelissa" age 23. My Automated Archives marriage CD-ROM gives the marriage of Bryan OBanion to Polly Smith on 3/1/1823 in Owen Co.
