Follow this link to see my abstracts of records on the Masons which includes census records, marriage records, wills, deeds, etc. There is also a link to Jim Mason's "Jett-Mason Ancestry Resource" where he has much information on the descendants of Bartlett Mason. Your Jesse Mason was a son of Bartlett Mason's son James Mason and was probably born closer to 1842 than 1845. His wife was Mary A. Osborne, daughter of William Strother Osborne.
