AGLL's prices are far more reasonable than the National Archives. 2) You can get a photocopy book of the 1850 census for Owen Co. Look in any of the big genealogy mag's for an ad. I don't think other census years are availble. 3) You can get the 1850 Owen Co., KY census on CD-ROMs made by two different companies. I don't recall the name of one company, but the name I do remember -- FamilyTreeMaker (Broderbund) -- is the one I recommend as the 1850 Owen Co., KY census is part of a set. You get the 1850 census for all counties of KY on one set of 3 CD-ROM. This is the actual images taken from the microfilm of the actual records *and* includes a statewide index of heads-of-households. Go to http://www.familytreemaker.com/ and then follow the links around to where the CD-ROMs are described. Note: You will need a "viewer" program from FamilyTreeMaker, provided separately, but it is free.
