    1. [KYOWEN-L] Merry Christmas
    2. I started decorating my house last week it's my favorite time of the year with very found memories of Christmas at my grandparents house with all the family. I got to thinking what a fun way to get to know one another so I want to invite everyone to take a minute out of their busy scheduled and tell us something you remember about Christmas when you were a child or a story that has been passed down through the years, or just say HI and introduce yourself to the group. Christmas is a time for sharing and we have over 80 subscribers now on the list and have only heard from a few of you. Also stop by and take a look around Grandma's Front Porch. I know most of you go to the Parlor but please come visit my main page, both are decorated for Christmas. The main page is located at: http://members.aol.com/cliftoncuz/index.htm and you can connect to the Parlor through the this page. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- CHRISTMAS AT MY GRANDMA'S Grandma would have her house all decorated, it was my job to put the hanger on the ornament and hand it to her to hang on the tree. When we finished I had the fun of putting on all the tinsel, strand by strand. On Christmas Eve we would all go to their house and have oyster soup, how that got started I am not sure but we did it each year. We opened our presents that evening each person would unwrap a present with all of us waiting for our turn, it would take a couple of hours, but what fun. On Christmas Day Santa would visit our house, my grandparents always made sure we had something special under the tree from Santa. I always received a special gift on Christmas morning from Santa until I married and left home. We would go back to their house for Christmas dinner, with all the family together there was a least 22 of us and my grandparents home was not that big. My grandparent have been gone for several years and all the cousins are scattered around what I would not give to have one more Christmas at grandma's house. Christmas is quieter it's just my daughters family, she has two girls, 8 and 6. My mother will be arriving next week and stay through the first of the year and my daughter & son in law have Christmas at their house and we always stay over Christmas Eve to be there when Santa arrives. No more oyster soup, but my daughter still wants my mother to fix the dressing just like her grandma made, some things don't change. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- A very Merry Christmas to all of you, Barbara "Clifton" Guinn in little old Katy, Texas
