Hello Owen County Researchers - Is anyone out there researching John Searcy, Revolutionary War Vet, who married Milly Francis Lea in Woodford County, KY on Sept 8, 1789 and was the son of Bartlett Searcy and Lucy Anderson, besides me? John Searcy was also a minister in Owen County, KY and closely associated with John Garnett and Tobias Willhoite. In fact, John Searcy's daughter, Elizabeth Searcy, married Obediah Willhoite, Tobias' son, on 10 March 1830 in Owen County. (No proof yet, but I think Jane Scearce was an older daughter who married Israel Willhoite, Tobias' oldest son in Woodford County, Ky in 1822.) Anyone out there have any proof of this?
