I have been searching for my Thurman/Thurmond ancestors in Henry County and O'Brien/Denny ancestors in Owen County. In the 1890 Special Census of Veterans I ran across a John Thurman in SD 4 ED 144 Mincor Civil Division Owenton Precinct House Number 135 Family 140. It has a notation Add... and gives no other information such as rank company etc. Does anyone know anything about him and if he fits with the Henry County Thurmans. Thanks for any help. Marvin Thurman
