My 2nd great-grandfather purchased and sold a lot of land in the Lusby Mill area (Hammond Creek where it connects to Eagle Creek). The original Clifton farm was on Richland Creek just on the other side of Eagle Creek bordered by Cobb Station Rd. He inherited part of his father's, David Sr., property in 1849 then purchased from his brothers and sisters their inherited part in 1850 I will not include that information here but wanted to share the names of the other neighbors that he dealt with. I can provide you with page and book numbers if anyone is interested, I do not have the original documents, this information was pulled from the court house by my cousin Glenna. 1845-1851 several transaction involving family members location of property Richland Creek (this was the original farm) 1857 Josiah purchased from Thomas Souder 6 acres Hammons Creek 1858 Josiah purchased from Pollard McKinney 34 acres Eagle Creek 1858 Josiah sold to Willis Alexander 29 acres Eagle Creek 1859 Josiah purchased from Mary Taylor 26 acres Hammons Creek 1872 Josiah sold to John Wright 1/2 acre Hammons Creek 1875 Josiah sold to Olive Wood 19 acres Hammond Creek 1875 Josiah purchased from W L Souder 6 acres Hammond Creek 1878 Josiah purchased from C.
