    1. [KYOWEN-L] 1840 Clifton neighbors
    2. I told you I would post the neighbors of my David Clifton Sr found on the 1840 census. In 1840 his farm was located near Cobb Station Road, Richland/Eagle/Hammonds Creek. If you look at the colorized map on my web page http://members.aol.com/ladyaster7/LM.htm it's in the area of the E M Cobb Tabacco ware house and the Clifton cemetery (look for orange dot to right of Smith Ville PO). David's land is in that general area from the cemetery across to the right going towards Grant Co line. His family members later married into most of these family lines.
