Anyone researching Shelton family we just found a Hammon/Clifton connections and would like to know more information on the following family 1850 - Census Elijah 48 wife Sally 50 Children: Mary Ann 26, Elizabeth 26, Levi 25, Greensburry 22, Joseph 18 & Woodson 15 1860 - Census Joseph 27 wife Mary 20 No children Living in the home: Father Elijah 58, Mother Sally 60 Sister Mary 37, Brothers Greenberry 29 and Woodson 25 What we do know is son Elijah moved to MO and married the widow of Alfred Clifton "Patsy" (Hammon) and we just found marriage information that Green Shelton married Mary E. Clifton daughter of Josiah Clilfton In 1880 Mary E. Shelton with daughter Analisin 6 found living with her widown mother and Mary died in 1922 her marker still shows her as a Shelton she is burried in the Hammon/Souder cementary.
