The following is from one page of the Order book unfortunately no dates are given I would say this is mid to late 1830 or early 1840 as David Clifton dies in 1847 David Clifton was appointed to be surveyor of the road called Cobbs Station to cover an area from the two mile marker on said road to intersection of the Muscle Sholal Road at this meeting house. The following men be allotted to keep the same in repair; Colby Holbrooks, James Holbrooks, Isaac Hollbrooks, Richard Osburn, Franklin Osburn, Joseph Winscott, Richard Winscott, Soloman Winscott, John Winscott, Bartlette Mason and Henry Tume. Motion of Henry Sparks to granted that he be given leave to erect and build a warehouse on the KY River near to Sparks house mill. Ordered that it be certified by the clerk of the court that John Coleman who acted as attorney for the commissioner in the district for this County has not been allowed any compensation for his services and that he justly in titled to the amount allowed by low for his serviced for the aforesaid. Thomas B Scriggs came into court and resigned his office of jailor and thereupon surrendered to the court the keys of the jail of said County Ordered that court be adjourned until court in course.
