Dear Listers Thanks for a view of the Pension List. My ancestor, Lewis Vallandingham, was on the list, as I thought. I believe he was half Shawnee. And he was a fourteen year-old soldier during the Rev War in Fairfax, VA. Then he served under D. Boone and Geo. Rogers Clark during the Indian Wars afterward. His wife, Betsy Bruce Drake Vallandingham, got the pension until 1856. Then the family was off the dole for a while. Tom
