Hi, Cousins, It's me again. Can anyone give me any info on a Union Army Co. I, 6th Reg. Calvary which was mustered in Owenton, Owen Co on 16 Sep 1862? I have a William Wess Dawson who served in the Union Army and this is the first thing I've seen that would fit for him. He disappeared after 1 Apr 1863, leaving a wife and 3 children.
