I just received the will of Charles Clifton 1896 he is believed to be the son of Robert and his grandfather was David Sr. He is burried in the Clifton cementary along with his wife Easter and several of his children. The following family names were listed in the will: daughter Mary Ann O'Banion (her husband was John W they married 3/9/1882) daughter Sarah Perkins husband was Henry they married ?) Sarah dies in 1888 and Charles list grandchildren Annie, John, Lucy & Bertha Perkins. He gave the above 100 acres purchased from Henry Stevenson adjoining lands of W. Sebree and E. Clark Adopted daughter Nancy Hays 50 acres upon conditions that her husband J. T. Hays pays out of the fifty acres of land a note to Dr. A. W. Smithers of $150.00 and a notation that the land is off the upper end of the Hammons land to include some timber. (Note would like to get more information on this family if anyone knows) Charles land would be located below the old David Sr property of Cobb Road ) Witnesses Joseph Shirley and J H Davis Charles and Easter only surveying son George Thomas he married Anna Perkins 2/28/1877 she was the daughter of Jim & Lessie (Osborne) Perkins.
