Hand written marriage bond (most of the bonds I have are "fill in the blanks") bond for Josiah Clifton to marry Lusaney Wainscott dated Sept 18, 1840 Bond by Josiah and Mitchell Clifton, his brother. Josiah is the son of David Sr and Easter Clifton this is his first marriage and still looking for her parents. Josiah was born 1817 their first child was born 1841 they had 4 children Edward, Sarah, David & Elizabeth Frankie, she was the last child born to them in 1848, We know Lusaney dies before 1850 because Josiah then marries Demaris Ann Prather January 10, 1850 Richard Wainscott (age 51 on the 1850 census) is the only one living near the Clifton farm that is old enough to be her father anyone have any ideas.
