Hi everyone-- I am new to this list, but have been studying the Wainscott family for quite a while. I am hoping that someone can clarify which Wainscott brother Elizabeth Langley married. Nathan H. Wainscott and Jesse Baker Wainscott were sons of David Greenup Wainscott and Rebecca Baker. One record indicates that Elizabeth Langley married Nathan on Feb. 17, 1837, and another indicates that she married Jesse on Aug. 16, 1838. In her marriage to Nathan, she is credited with 5 children, born 1837-1847. The record showing her married to Jesse shows no children born to her. Apparently, on June 8, 1843, Jesse (re)married to Virginia R. Newson; by her he had 4 children born 1844-1850. Can anyone shed light on this? Sue Streett
