Be it known that I Edward D Kenny of the County of Owen and State of Kentucky do hereby make my last will that is to say after the payment of all my just debts for which any or all of my personal property shall be used after which all my rights and title to the plantation on which I now live shall be for the use of my wife, NANCY, and daughter, PERMELIA during their natural life. And any personal property remaining for the use of my wife and daughter as above reserving for Permelia the following property which is now in my possession of which she now stands possess..of the right, one safe, one bureau, one bed and all the furniture thereunto belonging with the addition of my family Bible and Teas spoons provided in case of the decease of my wife or daughter, the survivor is permitted to sell theirin lifetime right in case my daughter Permelia should marry she shall resign her life time right and become a legatee in common with the following named; Benjamin F Kenny, Charlotte Gibbs and her heirs, James E Kenny, Edward D Kenny, Jr, William N Kenney, Richard E Kenny, and Miranda Kenney, daughter of my son Thomas J Kenny, deceased. After the decease of my wife and relinquisment of my daughter, the plantation with other remaining property to be sold and equally divided amongst the above named legatees.
