Whereupon she took the oath required by law together with George W Hammon and David Clifton entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $600 On motion of Elanor Hammon adm. of Sanford G Hammon dec'd. William Thornberry, David Clifton and Madison Keightley were appointed appraisers of the person......by the estate of said Sanford G. Hammon. Who being first duly sworn as required to appraise the .....and report to the court. (1848) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- Court Order Book E page 251 (bottom of page) It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that Doctor Franklin Osborn an infant orphan of this County has not established sufficient for his maintenance.....out of the profit thereof and Smith Taylor having signified his willingness to take said (starts page 252) Osborn as an apprentice to the trade and business of a Framer. It is ordered that the said Osborn be bound as an apprentice to the said Taylor from this date until he shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years. He being fourteen years of age on the ____ day of September last, and the clerk of the Court is ordered to enter into an indenture of apprenticeship with the said Smith Taylor containing the covenant required by law accordingly. (1849) -------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, 20 October 1851 On motion of David Clifton administration of the goods and chattels, rights and credits of Richard Osborn dec's is granted unto him, Thereupon the said Clifton took the oath required by law and together with A. M. Keightley and Thomas Jones his sureties entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $1000 payable and conditioned according to law. On Motion of David Clifton Administrator of Richard Osburn dec. ordered that James Perry, John Holbrook and William Smith be and they are hereby appointed appraisers of decedents estate who are required to act and report to court. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- Monday, 20 October 1851 Patsey Ann Brumley an infant of this county over the age of 14 years came into court and selected John Davis as her guardian, thereupon into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $200 payable and conceited by law. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, 20 October 1851 Upon motion of Samuel P Duvall administration of the goods and chattels rights and credits of Ann Rawsoell decd is granted unto hem thereupon he took the oath required by law and together with James S Forsee (sp?) and Wm. Cobb his services entered into and acknowledge bond in the penalty of $3000 payable & conditioned accordingly. On a motion of Samuel P Duvall administrator of Ann Rawsoell dec. ordered that Weedon Sleet, Jon B. McHatton and Wesley Suter and they are hereby appointed appraiser of decd estate who are required to act and report to court. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, 20 October 1851 On motion of Lewis Morgan administration of the goods & chattels rights and credits of Lewis Morgan Sr dec'd is granted unto him thereupon this said Lewis Morgan took the oath required by law and together with John Beard and John Morgan his services entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $400 payable and conditioned according to law On motion of Lewis Morgan administrator of Lewis Morgan Sr dec'd ordered that Thomas Works, Wm.
