Iler (including several spellings) and didn't find him in 1860 and I think, for 1870. An 1850 census lists one Henry Iler, age 36, with daughter Serena, 16; John, age 8 and Richard age 8 (think this is an error in ages according to other info on these two boys); and Emeline age 3 and Zachariah, age 1. If Henry Iler md. Mary Stewart March 24, 1846, (perhaps because his first wife, said to be Eliza Cooper had died), this would sound reasonable that Henry and Mary had their first child ten months later - Emmeline "Emma" and next had Zachariah in 1848 about two years later. I want to put this in my book, and want to be sure I have the correct mother for Emmeline - else I will have to leave out her mother's name.
