There are many genealogy sites on Geocities, and sadly, many of these sites may be lost if the webmasters don't move the sites to a new location. Yahoo is not notifying anyone about this by e-mail and many webmasters have not updated their sites in years, so--more likely than not--are not even aware the pages they have posted will be lost. You or someone you know may have genealogy information posted on a Geocities site. USGenWeb & Rootsweb also have had links to Geocities sites.
