He married (1) JULIA ADELINE "ADELIA" THOMAS 10 Jun 1850 in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of WILLIAM THOMAS and SALLIE JACKSON. She was born 19 May 1830 in Ohio County, Kentucky, and died 06 Jan 1874. He married (2) SARAH ANN "SALLY" FERGUSON 10 Aug 1898 in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of SAMUEL FERGUSON and CHRISTINA KITTINGER. She was born 12 Jan 1842 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and died 1917 in McLean County, Kentucky. (NOTE: This was Sarah Ferguson's second marriage. Her first marriage was in 1868 to WILLIAM D. FENTRESS b. Abt. 1836 KY. Sarah had children with William Fentress. She had none with David Austin Miller.)
